Hi, my name is George Witmer. Early in 2006, I conceived the idea to set up a new dating site. It was to be user-friendly and not one where the aspiring member has to fight his/her way through a 10-page application procedure. It was to be up to the member with whom he/she was going to communicate. That's why I chose not to implement a so-called match system which selects members for each other. I think that such a system is not sufficiently effective because in the end there are two people with all their different traits that cannot be pigeonholed. All the more I have focused on our online video chat, where our members can communicate by way of video/audio. I feel that that is the next best thing to an in-person encounter, making it possible to communicate freely about all and anything.

Now finally, we are ready to introduce ourselves for real on the internet. We truly hope that our members find happiness through our site, and that many more will join our community. We are open to suggestions and would like to thank you in advance. - George

Hi, my name is Hans Holzherr. I am a longtime friend of George's. When he casually showed me a draft for his website that a webdesigner had done I was shocked at the bad quality of the design which violated about every rule in the book. So, I offered to give his website a new face that was pleasing to the eye. In the ensuing months I took great pleasure in the graphical creation of the individual pages. The later development forced me to actually learn a lot more about HTML and CSS in order to create the webpages based on my design - minus the functionality which I generously left to the PHP and MySQL programmer to do... As was to be expected, there was many a tough nut to crack.

I hope that you like what you see here. I am a traditional illustrator by trade, and also a semi-pro musician. - Hans
